success stories

Sedlak Design Co. has completed a variety of successful projects, including:

a menu for Pi: Pizza by Vallozzi
This trendy Pittsburgh pizza place, an offshoot of the excellent Greensburg-based Vallozzi's Italian restaurant, needed a menu that fit with the somewhat austere decor but carried the overall "bold" attitude of the restaurant. It needed to be easily updated without costly reprints. The solution was a system of pre-printed, pre-scored two-color inside page shells held in the cover by metal rings. Menu text was black and could be printed onto the shells using an ordinary office laser or inkjet printer.

a website for Fuzzy Paws Pet Villa and Spa & Doggy Day Care
A new facility, born from the growth of Pet Sitters of South Hills, a Canonsburg, Pa business, sought to provide the best in amenities to it's customers and their furry friends. The website mostly needed to simply provide information on their facility and the services they offered. The real feature was the link to seven web-cams of the building and surrounding grounds. In order to provide privacy and security, the web-cams had to be protected by a system of rotating passwords which were provided to customers at check-in. Owners could see the activity in their dog's area while they sat at any internet-connected computer. Visit their site here.

As an employee at other firms, I created such things as a website for sports-betting advice which included custom content management, user accounts and a full complement of business management aids. I was a key player in a patent-pending online obituary system. And, I built a CD-based interactive product catalog for a leading electrical product company.
